Recognizing SAP for its unparalleled leadership in spearheading innovation in Israel, Pennsylvania and globally, by developing tailored industry-wide technological solutions. In 2017, SAP partnered with the PICC to promote joint ventures in the digital health, automation, first responder and smart fabric spaces. Most recently, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and SAP CEO Bill McDermott announced a 1 Billion Shekel joint project to promote the development of personalized medicine via Artificial Intelligence tools for early detection of patient abnormalities and provision of customized treatment.
The Life Science and Bio Innovation Award
Honoring the Gene Editing Institute for its work with NovellusDx, an Israeli company, and other regional partners in the personalized medicine space to advance gene-editing technology as part of its ongoing cancer research collaborations. This award also highlights the positive impact of the Institute’s new initiative to develop gene editing curricula at high schools and community colleges.

The Life-Time Achievement Award
Recognizing Mr. Rudnick for his contributions to nurturing our region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and advancing economic investment ties with Israel. He is the founder of Mid Atlantic Diamond Ventures, Mid Atlantic Bio Angels and First Pitch Bio, as well as a Founding Member of Keiretsu Forum Mid Atlantic, and has served on the boards of numerous fast-growth companies, including emerging Israeli entities.
