Carolyn Hochstadter is the Managing Partner of a boutique international business and bankruptcy law practice. She gained her “BigLaw” expertise at two large New York and Philadelphia law firms prior to founding her firm. Carolyn has a niche in helping start-up and small businesses manage their financial growth pain points. She helps clients rebuild and restructure their business operations, as well as salvage and monetize assets subject to a sale or unwinding exit event. Carolyn works with creditors, debtors, committees and trustees in Chapters 7, 11 and 13 business and personal bankruptcy cases, as well as in out-of-court workout and wind-down matters. Carolyn’s practice spans the U.S. and abroad, and she helps foreign and U.S. clients with operational and risk management programs. As a bonus, she enjoys speaking Hebrew, Arabic, French and German with her clients.
Outside the office, Carolyn is a Lecturer at The Wharton School, teaching the Legal Aspects of Entrepreneurship. Her firm is WBENC certified as a WBE and WOSB, and is eligible to partner on diversity projects in the private and public spheres.
Carolyn received her J.D. from Columbia University’s School of Law, an M.A. in Arabic Language and Literature from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, and a B.A. from Barnard College, Columbia University.
