Matthew Fingerman, Wealth Manager, Bank of New York Mellon Wealth Management
Matt is a Wealth Manager at the Bank of New York Mellon’s Wealth Management Office in Philadelphia. In this role, Matt assists in the management of personal trusts, agency, estates, charitable, pension and institutional accounts. Matt received his Bachelor’s degree from Drew University, where he was the recipient of seven named scholarship and The Gold “D.” Matt was also President of Drew University’s Hillel and worked in the University’s Admissions Office conducting interviews and planning events. While at BNY Mellon, Matt completed his MS in Management at Gwynedd Mercy University, graduating top of his cohort.
Prior to BNY Mellon, Matt served in Teach For America in Wilmington, Delaware. Matt was also a General Intern at the US Department of Homeland Security – Office of Law Enforcement. In this role he assisted in counter-terrorism operations, training and administration. He was awarded the NJECIA Intern of the Year Award and a special commendation from the Department of Homeland Security for his work.
Matt is a mentor at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Philadelphia program and the Drew University Alumni Mentorship Program. Matt is also an active member of The Foreign Policy Research Institute, the Young Professionals Network and The Racquet Club of Philadelphia. Matt is also on the Board of Directors at Aldersgate Youth Service Bureau and the Philadelphia Israel Chamber of Commerce. Matt is currently pursuing his MBA at Gwynedd Mercy University.
