Scott I. Feldman, Esq. Global Head, SAP HANA Customer Communities, SAP
A frequent keynote speaker at major SAP events, Scott has spent over two decades in high technology and related fields. Currently he is the Global Head of the SAP HANA Customer Community, which comprises an International Focus Group (HANA iFG), a global SAP HANA Executive Advisory Council, and the SAP HANA Spotlight reference program. All of these elements focus on SAP HANA in-memory technology, strategy, market positioning, customer adoption and knowledge sharing. The benefit is value creation for the growing number of customers adopting this new technology solution. Specific engagements and SAP HANA community meetings are held throughout the year at the SAP Insider HANA Conference, ASUG and other global SAP user group events and meetings, SAP SAPPHIRENOW, and at SAP TechEd Executive Summit, as well as other strategic customer community focused programs related to SAP HANA adoption.
Scott’s prior experiences in architecting and managing strategic influence communities have included the SAP India Users Group INDUS, ASUG CIO-CTO Executive Exchange, The Research Board, Gartner SAP Best Practices Council, CIO Strategy Exchange, EuroCIO and others. He also managed many other strategic topic-based communities: Enterprise Architect, Business Process Expert, BI Analytics, Master Data Management Council and the Governance Risk & Compliance Executive Advisory Board. Scott also supported customers in the past as a Senior SAP NetWeaver™ Advisor for the SAP Customer Advisory Office.
Scott was a member of the SAP strategy team where he led initiatives designed to foster relationships with key technology partners around the application hosting solution offering, certifying SAP Hosting Partners, training and educating them on the legal aspects of the per user per month licensing model.
Currently Scott serves as a Board Member for the China Partnership of Greater Philadelphia (CPGP) www.chinaphilly.org – a non-profit organization that promotes collaboration on public/private cleantech initiatives between Philadelphia and the People’s Republic of China. He also serves on the Advisory Board of GreenWorld Capital, LLC http://greenworldcap.com – a merchant bank focused exclusively on serving the financial and strategic needs of cleantech companies and investors in the US and abroad. Scott is also a member of the Wharton IGEL Corporate Advisory Board http://environment.wharton.upenn.edu/ – a global initiative with the mission to develop and disseminate business solutions to sustainability on a global scale through future leaders and public outreach regarding best practices and sustainable profit opportunities.
Scott holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Lafayette College, an MBA in Marketing from the LeBow College of Business at Drexel University, a Juris Doctor from the Beasley School of Law at Temple University, and is a licensed attorney for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and State of New Jersey as well as a registered US Patent Attorney. He is a member of both Tau Beta Pi and Eta Kappa Nu academic engineering honor societies.
