Tami Fartis, Managing Member, Phoenician Ventures LLC
Tami Fratis is an accomplished Senior Executive and Board Member with more than 30 years of success across the private equity, insurance, real estate, and healthcare industries. Leveraging extensive experience in finance, marketing and sales generation for companies, she is a valuable asset for a business experiencing decreased sales, branding issues, or in need of a new business strategy. Her broad areas of expertise include strategic planning and implementation, finance, marketing, sales, and risk management.
Throughout her executive career, Tami has held leadership positions at companies including PriceWaterhouse, Safeguard Scientifics, Phoenician Ventures, Waypoint Residential, and SEI Investments. Currently, she is the CEO of IPR International where she has been involved since she joined the Board in 2003. She assumed the CEO role in 2013. Tami has had tremendous success over the years and has served as a key contributor to the financial achievements of the organizations with which she’s worked. She has been responsible for expanding a company’s brand into the U.S. Family Office and High Net Worth Communities from a predominately institutional base of investors. Tami has also managed the fund strategies and risk management for a $2B organization. Additionally, she increased the number of managers by 254%, upfront revenue by 426%, and fee income by 900% while working for a global fund of funds.
Tami received her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics from Dickinson College and her Master of Business Administration in Finance, Strategy and Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School of Business. She is also a highly experienced board member and has served on more than 20 boards over the last 25 years including Front Royal, Murex, PayQuik, Northwestern Human Services, Compass Rose, Optical Sensors, Wharton Alumni Association and Meidlinger Partners.
