David J. Allon, MBA, Managing Representative, Woodbury Financials
David Allon advises clients on how to identify and formulate personal wealth management goals. His clients have various asset sizes and protection needs. Customization, personalization, and a client-centric approach are key features of David’s practice.
David utilizes the depth of knowledge and experience and resources of his local professional team at Woodbury, allowing David to spend most of his time coaching his clients in addressing their goals and developing their current financial strategy.
David has been involved in various aspects of finance and economics since 1981. Prior to joining Woodbury, he served as Financial Consultant III, Officer, Citizens Securities, Inc.(2015-2017), as senior financial professional at Firstrust Financial Resources, LLC (2003-2015), and a partner at Oak Securities, LP where he provided financial planning for high net worth professionals and small business owners (1996-2002). Earlier in his career, David was a research economist at Data Resources, Inc. (Lexington MA), a financial analyst at Merck’s corporate international treasury department (Rahway, NJ), and a senior derivative trader at Bloom Staloff (Philadelphia, PA).
He has been a board member of the America Israel Chamber of Commerce (Atlantic Region) since 2001, and its executive board (2005-present). David joined the Franklin Institute Executive Corporate Board in Philadelphia in February 2015. David has served as President of NABE (National Association of Business Economists), Philadelphia chapter, 2011. David has been on the executive board (2002-2005, 2008-2011) of Congregation Or Shalom in Berwyn, PA. He is very active in the Alumni Association of Brandeis University, having served for 8 years as president of the alumni club of Greater Philadelphia (1993-2001).
David graduated from Brandeis University in 1981, with a BA in Economics, Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude. He spent a year of study at The London School of Economics (1979-80). David completed an MBA in finance at Columbia Business School in January 1989. David resides in Wayne, PA with his wife and two children.
