More Details:

Tribe 12 and the Philadelphia Israeli Chamber of Commerce (PICC) present an impressive panel of Israeli companies that will speak about the technology and innovation happening right now, and how you are benefiting from it all right here in Philadelphia for Philly Tech Week!

Israel’s vibrant start-up scene is no secret. Applications we use everyday such as Waze, Viber and Wix were all founded in Israel and have been integrated in American culture quickly. Not impressed yet? You can thank Pango, an Israeli-Philly based company, for your decrease in parking tickets. Hear from Pango themselves about their start-up story and their successes right here in the City of Brotherly Love.

Still not impressed? Dr. Baruch Ben Dor, president and CEO of Infrascan Inc, named Technology Innovator Start-Up of the year at the 2014 Voltage Awards, will be joining us on the panel. Learn about the medical device being used by military all over the world. Dr. Ben Dor is also a graduate of the Israeli super-elite Talpiot military program. This elite program accepts only the best and brightest to develop new and creative technologies for Israeli Defense Force (IDF). We will hear from Dr. Ben Dor and his experiences with Israel’s top start-up leaders.

Joining the panel will also be Vered Nohi-Becker, Executive Director of the Philadelphia Israel Chamber of Commerce, who will be representing the BIRD (Binational Industrial Research and Development) Foundation. The BIRD Foundation annually provides 20-30 grants of up to $1 Million/project. Their mission is to stimulate, promote and support industrial R&D of mutual benefit to the U.S and Israel. Brett Goldman, PICC Advisory Board member will be moderating.

Join Tribe 12 and PICC as we hear from Pango, Infrascan Inc., and other Israeli companies for a night of networking, schmoozing, hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and an impressive panel discussion.
