PHILADELPHIA (September 11, 2015)—The Philadelphia-Israel Chamber of Commerce (PICC) is pleased to introduce ICS2, an Israeli leading cyber security company with expertise for the energy and utilities, to the Marcellus Shale Coalition at their Annual Summit – Shale Insight. The event will be hosted in Philadelphia on September 17.
ICS2 will take part in a panel session titled Cyber Risk: Oil and Gas Facility Protection against Cyber Attacks, in which the Israeli startup will present an innovative cyber security solution to the natural gas community. The company’s participation in the
ICS2 will introduce a groundbreaking big-data analysis technology that can uncover sophisticated cyber-related anomalies in the operational systems of oil and gas facilities.
“The growing cyber-threat on our critical infrastructures calls for more innovative solutions”, says Vered Nohi, executive director at PICC. “It’s encouraging to see startups like ICS2 who have made this their mission and can support the needs of the U.S. largest gas drilling region.”
ICS2‘s technology has been deployed by water and energy utilities in Israel, and the company is now establishing its presence in the US. The introduction of ICS2‘s technology to the US market will be done in collaboration with local US partners.
