The Philadelphia-Israel Chamber of Commerce (PICC) and McConnell Johnson Real Estate LLC were honored to host Israeli Deputy Consul General Amir Sagie and New Castle County Executive Elect Matt Meyer for a roundtable discussion with Delaware members of the Chamber and stakeholders on December 8 at 1313 Innovation, Wilmington, DE. The group explored opportunities of growing joint ventures between Israeli and Delaware companies and academic institutes on various technologies including: life sciences and bio, cyber and homeland security, fintech, smart city technologies, agriculture and more. It is estimated that 5000 Israeli companies are incorporated in Delaware. County Executive Elect Meyer and Paul McConnell, Partner, McConnell Johnson Real Estate, LLC, expressed interest in attracting Israeli companies to open operations in the First State as they grow globally.
